CONS, Connection-Oriented Network Service, is one of the two OSI network layer protocols, the other being CLNS (Connectionless Network Service). It is basically X.25, with a few adjustments.

28/366 – Bring In The Clones!

Do you ever wish you had a clone? You know, for those days where you just want to be totally lazy and not do anything? That’s how I feel today. I wish I could just split myself in two, well, into two of me and tell my clone to go take care of everything that I don’t want to do.

The last few days have been really stressful just because I had to go through a number of interviews for the AMAZING job that I ended up landing! But, yeah, I have just been exhausted mentally and physically by all of it. When you invest yourself into something 100% and want that something more than the world, well, it’s pretty easy to wear yourself out. Not to mention, some of my oldest band buddies in the amazing band, The Cast Pattern, from Lawrence, KS played Joplin last night. My old band, While I Breathe, used to do everything with those guys. From touring, to small weekend excursions, to one-off shows, we had some amazing times! We’ve all been good buddies for about 7 years, and, until last night, it had been about a year since the last time we saw each other. So, needless to say, last night was a party!

As I laid in bed this morning (actually, I am back in bed now as I type this), I was thinking, damn, I have to come up with a shot today and I don’t feel like doing anything. That’s when this idea popped in my head. Obviously, I still had to get up and make the shot happen, but I did so in about 10 minutes. I made it happen quick! I want to be lazy today, damnit! Hahaha!

Well, now that I am comfortably sitting in bed and watching Real Time with Bill Maher I am back to enjoying this lazy day! Although, I cannot wait for my wife to get off work at 5:00! I love spending time with her and we have some celebrating to do this evening for me landing what is basically my dream job! Professional careers!!! WOOT!!!
